Symphony Hall Birmingham and on national tour.

***** “Top class with some magical musical arrangements”

A packed Symphony Hall generously accommodated many Strictly Come Dancing fans for a night of high-ranking dance, music and song all celebrating the very best of songwriting over the years.

The generosity didn’t end there, Aljaz and Janette were rightly the headliners and hosted us smoothy through the evening, but it was a very collegiate affair with equal space and time given to the incredibly gifted supporting dancers as well as the guest vocalist Jill Marie Cooper. And special mention to Tom Seals who balances his role as narrator and vocalist brilliantly. The band are of the top order and breathe such vigor and tangible excitement to the vast Symphony Hall auditorium.

Aljaz and Janette are a warm and relatable double act and slip in plenty of humour and banter and in addition of course are consummate dancers, with Janette being flipped and flown around the stage and around Aljaz’s shoulders with ease. Janette also shows us her considerable talent for musical theatre, taking the lead with the vocals for a handful of the numbers.

The energy is fifth gear throughout and all aspects of the show are equally matched…the choreography, the vocals and in particularly the magical musical arrangements.

Don’t think dance show…. think an evening of variety and top-class entertainment.
